Do you want to be part of something that makes a big splash for the environment?
An overview
The Blue Mile – Race for the Environment is the UK’s newest mass-participation event designed to get you immersed in our wonderful watery environment and raise some money for charity. It will be open to everyone to take part and complete a mile in, on or next to a blue environment.
The concept is simple, you select a sport, maybe join a local club or gym to do some training, get yourself fit and then join us and thousands of others to take part in THE BLUE MILE 2010 - Race for the Environment.
Official entry for the Blue Mile is open, simply go to enter online and select from the list of activities that you would like to compete in. If you really want to be adventurous, choose a sport that you haven't tried before and learn through one of the many fantastic sports clubs in your region, some of which will be able to offer you a special introductory Blue Mile discount*
The inaugural Blue Mile event will take place in front of Plymouth’s waterfront on the 3rd-4th July 2010, so you have plenty of time to get ready and raise some sponsorship. Once you’ve registered online and selected your chosen sport, we will email you with your entry details and a sponsorship pack.
